Crash Team Racing

PlayStation kart racing game Crash Team Racing (stylized as CTR: Crash Team Racing) was released in 1999 by Naughty Dog and Sony Computer Entertainment. In this version in the Crash Bandicoot series, it is the fourth game in the series. Story revolves around Crash Bandicoot and his ragtag band of Crash Bandicoot characters racing against the egomaniacal Nitros Oxide to save the Earth from total annihilation. Only eight of the fifteen characters from the Crash Bandicoot series are available at first in the game. To obtain an advantage in the races, you can use offensive and speed-enhancing power-ups.

North American and European audiences were introduced to Crash Team Racing on September 30th, 1999, respectively; the game was launched in Europe on October 20th, 1999. However, the game's gameplay and graphics were praised by critics, while the soundtrack was met with mixed reviews. There is a sequel to Crash Nitro Kart that came out in 2003 for a variety of platforms. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled was revealed at The Game Awards 2018 and published on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on June 21, 2019.
