Professor Layton and the Unwound Future

Layton and the Lost Future, or Professor Layton and the Unwound Future in Europe and Australia, is the third game in the original trilogy of the Professor Layton puzzle games by Level-5. For the North American market, it was released in September of that year, and for the rest of the world (including Europe and Australia) in October of that year. During the course of the game, Layton meets an older version of his apprentice, Luke, who takes him to a horrific future and begs him to assist in fixing it. Critics praised the game highly. As of July 13th, 2020, a new version of Unwound Future dubbed "HD for Mobile" will be available for smartphones and tablets.
