While Mario Golf does not have many notable differences from its predecessors, it is still enjoyable and easy to pick up. Its gameplay is fairly simple and removes a lot of the guesswork for newcomers to the game. GameSpot and IGN both described the game as challenging, but not difficult to master. The simplicity of the game is a good thing in my book, as it allows me to immerse myself in the nature of golf.
