Bloody Roar 2

When Eighting and Raizing released Bloody Roar 2, it was known as Bloody Roar 2: The New Age in Europe and Japan and Bloody Roar II: The New Breed in the United States. Second episode of Bloody Roar series and sequel to first Bloody Roar.

Everyone has a beast mode, just like in the previous game, which allows them greater speed and/or power with their attacks while also allowing them to launch new attacks. Beast Drives are also introduced in the sequel, which are super attacks that trigger cutscenes and deal significant damage to the target, with each Beast Drive being unique to a character's playstyle.

A review of the PlayStation version of the game by Next Generation gave it a score of three out of five and claimed that the game's gameplay was enjoyable "Fighting game Bloody Roar 2 is a visual treat and a blast to play, with just enough to distinguish it from the pack. Many things to enjoy here, despite some minor balance concerns."
